Children die of malaria

A number of children were reported to have died of malaria in villages of Gedo region in southern Somalia (Africa), where the spring rains began.
The most complexity that the people in Burdhubo district and villages of Gedo region were suffering is malaria disease, which has threatened the region that bordering Kenya.
Two children  have died of malaria in Burdhubo district for the past two days after more rains in the region laid water on the ground, which resulted out break of malaria.
Chairman of health committee in the district Ali Hassan Burale said the villagers faced the worst health problems in three years.
He said more than 12 people mostly pregnant women and children over the age of 12 fallen into the disease every day.
Mr. Burale appealed aid agencies to deliver urgently humanitarian assistance including mosquito net and medicine to fight against the disease.
